ABOUT NAOMI

Maternal Mental Health Counsellor · Trauma-Informed Practitioner · Mother

Hi, I’m Naomi — the counsellor and heart behind Glow Gentle Collective.

I support women through the emotional, psychological and identity challenges that arise in pregnancy, postpartum, loss, motherhood, and the deeply transformative experience of matrescence.

My work is grounded in lived experience, clinical training, and a deep belief that mothers deserve spaces where they are seen, held and understood — not rushed, judged, or expected to “cope” alone..

What I Do

I offer gentle, mother-centred counselling — online and in-person — for women navigating the emotional landscapes of motherhood, identity, and change.

My sessions are grounded in compassion, warmth, and safety. Together, we explore what’s beneath the surface: the patterns, beliefs, and tender parts of you that are ready to be understood and nurtured.

I also hold community gatherings like The Mother’s Circle, Nurture Night, and Calm Craft & Tea Circle — spaces that remind us we’re not meant to do this alone.

Why I Do This Work

Motherhood changed me in profound ways — beautiful, messy, overwhelming, and deeply transformative.
I know firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself while carrying the emotional load of a family, navigating exhaustion, or trying to hold everything together when you feel like you’re falling apart inside.

Glow Gentle was created from the quiet, honest truth that mothers need support, space, and care too.

You don’t have to be strong all the time.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.
You don’t have to hold everything on your own.

Here, you’re allowed to soften..

A Little More About Me

I’m a mum of three — Malia, Anna and Ziggy — and like so many mothers, I never truly understood the emotional intensity of motherhood until I was living inside it.

I’ve walked through the exhaustion, the identity shifts, the moments of losing myself, the quiet nights of wondering who I was becoming, and the deep desire to feel grounded again.
There were seasons where I felt anxious, overwhelmed, overstretched, and unsure how to find my way back to myself.
And there were seasons filled with joy, softness, and those tiny moments of magic that make all the hard parts feel worth it.

I have also personally experienced miscarriage, and that experience changed me in ways I never expected — emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
It showed me how real, deep and invisible grief can be.
It taught me how many women carry their pain quietly.
And it’s a big part of why I am so passionate about creating safe, compassionate spaces for mothers experiencing loss.

My own path through pregnancy, postpartum, loss and mothering three little ones is what led me here.

I didn’t arrive at this work through textbooks alone — I arrived through lived experience.
Through knowing what it feels like to hold a baby while holding back tears.
Through knowing the weight of the mental load.
Through moments of burnout, overwhelm, and trying to be everything for everyone.
Through grief that others couldn’t always see, but that sat so heavily inside me.
Through the soft, quiet rebuilding of myself, piece by piece.

I’m a woman who understands what it feels like to crave a space just for you.
A space where you don’t have to be strong.
Or together.
Or “fine.”
A space where you can breathe and be human again.

Beyond counselling, I create gentle community spaces — circles, gatherings, and retreats — where mothers can share stories, feel less alone, and reconnect with themselves.

I live in rural NSW, love slow mornings when I can get them, believe deeply in the power of rest, and am endlessly inspired by the resilience, tenderness and quiet strength of mothers.

Supporting women is not just my work — it’s my calling.
You don’t need to show up perfect here.
Just come as you are..
